Let me or Linda know if you would like to come and let us know which craft you would like to make. I think we will start this time around 7:00 so that everyone has time to get their families situated.

HE HAS DONE IT!

Michael has been trying to land a flip on the wake board for ahwile now and this summer was the summer he would finally do it. After late nights watching how people did it on utube and reading in wake boarding magazines he was able to land his flip! Back in August he did it but of course we had no camera to record it. This past weekend he went out to the lake with some friends and remembered to take the camera to get it on film! Can you believe it is warm enough to go to the lake in OCTOBER! Well here is the video enjoy!

Flag football

Well like I said in my last post our days and weekends have been a little crazy and football is one of the reasons. Kauner and Hayden are playing flag football right now. Well Kauner is playing and Hayden is having practices getting ready for the BIG season. Michael is coaching Haydens team and it is funny hearing him talk about the little ones on his team. They are 1st and 2nd graders so they really aren't too interested in what is going on. I will post pictures of that event as soon as I get some.
Kauner on the other hand has a pretty good little team and it is a lot of fun to go watch him play. He is very competitive like his mother so I don't know how good that is but it is fun to see him out there loving what he is doing. His cousin Talmage is the quarter back for the team and the play really well together. Here are just a few shots from his last game.

This is for Sunni!

Today I was having my daily chat with my sister Sunni and she asked me if I was ever going to update my blog. I apolojize to everyone for my lack of blogging. This past week has just flown by and I wish I could get it back. I have been so busy doing sign stuff and making costumes for Halloween my poor house is a wreck. I did have a chance to clean out my closet to fit some furniture in there but other then that the laundry is piled high and the floors are very dirty! My family has been very patient with me and willing to help when asked so that has been great! I will try to get on the computer a little more after this next week. I have to have costumes done for the ward halloween party on Saturday and of course the activity day halloween party on Tuesday! I do have to say I love this holiday season when it is cold outside in the evenings and there is a smell of goodies cooking all the time. Be patient with me and soon enough I will be back to my blogging ways!

Happy Birthday Taylor

It is hard to believe eleven years ago today on Conference Sunday we sat in the hospital waiting for our first baby to arrive. She has been such a joy in our lives. I hope she will always know how much her dad and I love her. She has been such a great example to her brothers and sisters. Happy Eleventh Birthday Taylor We Love You!

My sister in law Linda and I decided we would try to make Taylors cake using Fondant. We had a great time and I do have to say for our first cake with no classes at all it came out pretty cute. I can't wait for Ellies birthday to do it again!

Conference Sunday

I do have to say I love getting up Sunday morning knowing that I am not going to have to get my 5 kids dressed in their Sunday best hair combed and fed by 8:45 for church. I love sitting on the couch with my hubby in my jammies listening to great inspiration coming from the leaders of our church. Today was a beautiful session and was what I needed to hear. After the first half we headed over to my moms for lunch and the second half. We had great food and a little time to rest. I thought I would post this funny picture of our men relaxing in the back on this beautiful Sunday.

A run in with the Door knob

Last night I was in the front room cleaning up dinner and all of the sudden there was a horrible scream from the back room. I walked down the hall and found Ellie screaming holding her eye. I didn't know what happened but Kauner was standing there so of course I thought he did something to her. After I yelled at him and Ellie calmed down she told me she ran into the door knob. Her eye began to swell right away and was a lovely shade of purple. this morning when she got up her eye was swollen and turning purple on the top of her eyelid.

It looks a lot worse in person. good thing school pictures have already been taken.
