Ellie's Christmas program

Ellie's class at school put on a little program for the parents on the last day of school. It was really cute and I am sure Mrs. Teves put in many hours teaching her class of 5 year olds the 12 days of Christmas. Ellie's was ten Ladies dancing. She did such a great job and loved performing in front of everyone!

I love Christmas time

I think my favorite time of the year is Christmas. I love the decorations, I love the music, I love spending time with the family, and I love the feelings I feel watching my children during this time.
Sitting in my living room looking at my beautiful tree makes me happy so I thought I would share with you a picture of the tree I love so.

Every year since Michael and I have been married Michael has let me buy some christmas decoration of some sort. I have gotten some really cute things throughout the years but this years item I just love. It makes me smile everytime I come in the front door.

I have such a sweet husband who hangs my lights every year with no complaint. Aren't they so pretty!

Ellies birthday party

Really needing to update

Kauner has never had a birthday party and since he was turing ten I thought it would be nice to have a little party. Michael and I thought it would be fun to make it a surprise party so I called the parents of his friends and arranged the little event. I had my mom come and pick him up to go shopping for a gift from her and then his friends were dropped off at our home and we headed down to the bowling alley. Michael meet us there and then a little later my mom showed up with Kauner. I don't know if he was surprised or not but it was great seeing him walk in and us all standing there waiting for him. Michael stayed with the boys and bowled a few games and I headed home to get the pizza ready. After awhile they arrived home and we ate and just played for awhile. This picture below was a gift from Hayden. He made Kauner a lego building and wrapped it in a grocery bag. Kauner was so sweet to him and thanked him for the great gift. What a great moment.

I really wasn't up to making a cake for his little party so I made cupcakes instead. I was going to make bowling balls but I had a ton of orange frosting so Basketballs were made.

I love this picture of my nephew Luke. He loves the guitar and every time he comes to my house he carries around the guitar hero guitar. I love hearing him say the word geetar is how he says it. He was playing with Uncle Michael over at Grandmas house.

One of the best gifts ever!

This summer was Michael and I's 12th wedding anniversary. When he gave me my card it said that when you love someone you sacrifice things for that person and I didn't understand what he was talking about until I opened it up further and read what it was. Carrie Underwood concert tickets for November 14th. As most of you know Michaels birthday was November 14th and I knew he wasn't that into Carrie Underwood so I felt very special. He said he was giving up he birthday night so I could go see her in concert. Two days before the concert he asked me for her cd so that he could listen to it while he drove to work. He said he wanted to know some of her songs. When we arrived at the rabo bank arena there were people everywhere. It was crazy. When Michael ordered the tickets he ordered on the floor area since he didn't know where the best view would be. As we got down on the floor the workers asked for our tickets and walked us to our seats. Can I just say they were the best ever. We were in the second row back from the stage they walk out on. You could see them perfectly when they came out there to sing. The only bad part was the giant lady who sat right in front of me. You will seee she is most of the pictures but besides that it was a great night. Michael stood with me while I danced and sang and said he had a great time. I know his favorite part was when she came out for the encore and sang Guns and Roses "Paridise city". He knew every word and was rocking out. Carrie Underwood is beautiful and she can sing! The band opening up for her was Little Big Town and they were great also. A night to remember for sure.

Family pictures

Sunni took us out to Hart Park and took a few pictures of my family for Christmas cards. It was a total nightmare. The first few pictures were great everyone happy and then in between changing locations everything began to fall apart. Kauner and Hayden fighting, Taylor taunting. It was great family photo shoot. Sunni took the pictures home to tweek and play with them to get a great finished product so these are just samples.

Grandma Abby's retiring

On Friday Grandma Abby went to work for the last time. We thought it would be fun to throw a little party for her to let her know how proud we were of all her hard work. It is going to be wierd after 18 years to have grandma around anytime during the day. We can't wait!!!!!!

I bought a great tasting cake from costco and then decorated it with a little school bus.

Charley wearing Grandmas hat

Charley's photo shoot in the orchard

While Sunni was here we decided to take Charley over to the orchards by my house and take a few pictures of Charley. I haven't figured out how to work my photoshop yet so here are a few unfixed pics.

Pre-school parade

The preschool that Charley goes to has a bike parade every year and this year Charley was able to be in it. The only problem is that she doesn't have a bike. I was telling the teacher I was just going to keep her home on the day of the parade since she doesn't have a bike and they told me that they had a wagon that she could decorate and they would pull her in. So here is Charley leading the parade in her little wagon.

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. They kids had a great time dressing up for all the parties and getting a ton of candy trick "R" treating. The girls were Fairies, Kauner was a newsie and Hayden was two face from batman! I do hate the stress I feel when Halloween gets close and the costumes aren't finished but when it is all said and done it is a lot of fun!

Mauri had a Halloween party this year and it was so much fun. She had a place to take pictures and a ton of food and games.
