I just thought I would share with all my family and friends the morning I had. It started out like any other morning, kids getting ready for school, Charley screaming for cereal, and Ellie asking if she was going to school today. I got Michael off to work and the kids off to school and started my normal routine of making beds. Ellie and Charley were playing together in their room while I got dressed for the gym. Off to the gym we went and then after that off to the doctor for Ellie's pre-school physical. We haven't been to the doctor in awhile so Ellie was really nervous. When we got there both girls were fine sitting patiently in the chairs waiting for the doctor to come. After the nurse checked Ellie's eyes, ears, and weight she told us Ellie needed to pee in a cup. Your would have thought it was the end of the world. Ellie was crying saying she didn't want them to see her pee. Then Charley was spinning the chair that the doctor sits on and when the doctor came in and sat down Charley lost it. When I say lost it I mean LOST it. She started screaming at the top of her lungs, throwing herself on the floor and kicking off her shoes. I was so embarrassed I didn't know what to do. If I picked her up she would kick and scream out of my hands, so while the doctor was trying to talk to me about Ellie I just let her scream on the floor. I wanted to die. Ellie then was behind on her shots so she had to have one shot today and another in a few months. So two nurses had to come in and help me while Charley screamed on the floor and Ellie screamed in the chair. Everyone was trying to help by giving suckers to Charley and little toys but nothing would work. She continued to scream for the whole appointment and then out to the car. I am sure that everyone in there thought I was the worst mother ever because of the way she was acting and the fact that I just let her scream on the floor. Maybe I am I don't know but I just didn't know what to do to get her to stop. When I got in the car I just started crying and had to call Michael to calm me down. Later I talked to my mom and she said I use to do that. I don't know how she didn't kill me. I guess this is pay back. I hope that no one ever has to experience what I had to today, and I hope that it never happens again.

I've been tagged
How it all began!
My friend Stephanie tagged me and so I am going to try and remember as much as I can.
1. Where did you meet your husband?
Michael and I grew up in Bakersfield and always knew of eachother. It wasn't until after his mission one summer we met formally at a young adult dance. I was invited to go with Lisa Faulkner and was sure there would only be freaks there but boy was I wrong. ( There were a ton of freaks)HAHAHA!
2. What was the first thing you said to your husband?
I can't remember but Michael seems to think it was "Want a blow pop!"
3. Where was your first date?
Michael and all the other guys set up a tv out on Highland high schools baseball field and we watched a movie. I was feeling really bad because I couldn't remember the movie but then Michael couldn't either.
4. Where was your first kiss?
To give a brief back ground, Sharol Austin and I were talking to Michael after one of the young adult activities and were telling him that girls give signs to the boy when it is ok to kiss them. So and few weeks later Michael brought me home from a date (which one I can't remember) and walked me up to the front door and we stood there for about 30 minutes not knowing what to talk about and then he finally kissed me after I gave him the ok sign. I thought he never would and boy was I SOOOOOO happy.
5. Did you have a long or short engagement/courtship?
We dated off and on for about 9 months. Michael kept telling me I wasn't the one and that he just wanted to be friends but I kept fighting and it finally worked. We were engaged for 2 months and that was still too long.
6. Where did you get engaged?
Michael took me to the beach for the day on May 25th and it was freezing. We stayed there for awhile and then we went and walked around the Sherman Oaks Mall. He took me to dinner at a little Mexican resturaunt right by the temple and after we ate he asked if I wanted to go over to the temple. I said no because I was cold but he said we really should so off we went. We got there and walked around the grounds until we came to the bench right outside were the bride and groom come out. We were sitting there for awhile and then the next thing I knew he was on one knee. It was great!!!!!
7. Where did you get married?
On August 2, 1996 we were married in the Los Angeles temple.
8. How did the reception go?
There are only a few things I remember. Adam Rosses wife dancing to "Hey Macaraina", The line was forever long, they put a picture of Michael burnt after the dust storm on the picture wall, and I didn't get any cake.
9. How was the honeymoon?
We flew to Florida and went to Disney World for a week. Other then it being really hummid it was a blast. There are so many parks there that we really didn't know where to start. One of the days we went to one of the water parks (Blizzard Beach) and went down one of the tallest slides. I was cleaned out pretty good by the time I reached the bottom if you know what I mean! We also went to Pleasure Island and they wouldn't let me in unless Michael had a note from my parents allowing him to take me into the park.( You had to be 21 or older ) I hope some day we will be able to go back.

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!
Today was the first day of school. I have been dreaming of this day for a while now. I woke up this morning and was so excited for the kids to go to school. Not only because I would be down to only two children during the day but that the kids would be able to go and feed their heads with knowledge. I walked the kids to school and waited to meet all their teachers. They all seemed very nice. Ellie was very sad that she wasn't staying for school. I just had to keep reminding her she would be going next year. I got home and in my mind I was going to have this great day were I went to the gym dropped the kids off in the child care and worked out for and hour in peace. Do you think that happened. Of course not I got to the gym took the kids into the child care and Charley would not let me leave. It took me almost 15 minutes before I was able to sneak out the door. Then after 15 minutes on the crosstrainer I heard them call my name. I got off the machine and ran over to the child care and of course she had stopped crying. So back out I went to try again. It happened 2 more times and each time I got the child care she would be fine. What a total nightmare!!!!!!!! You can imagine how great my workout was. I am hoping this isn't going to be a regular thing for her. I picked the boys up after school and got to hear all about how cool their days were. It makes me feel good that they love school(Most of the time).
Taylor looked so cute on the first day. She was very excited and ready to go to school by 7:00am this morning.
This is Hayden and his friend Camden Larson. They have been in preschool and kindergarten together so they both were very happy to have eachother in the same class.
The boys after their first day of school. kauner, Talmage, Hayden, and Anthony.

A day at the beach
Grandma Urmston asked if we wanted to go to the beach for the day with all the cousins and of course we said yes. We got up and at 8:30 we headed out to Avila. We got there around 10:45 and set up for the day. The weather was so nice all day. We just layed out and relaxed all day. The kids loved playing in the water and sports with Uncle Nathan. Around 6:30 we were finally ready to go home. What a great day. We look forward to going back.
Jordan, Garrett, and Hayden were the outfielders.
Drew wondered around and helped out were he was needed!!!!
Logan up to bat!
Tanner taking a swing.
Kauner loves playing baseball on the beach.
The bees loved Charley who was covered in food. She was stung three times and still was happy as to be at the beach. These two pictures are of her looking at her hand where she got stung first.
Charley had a wonderful time at the beach roaming around watching all the kids play.

The girls room
Megi asked me to post some pictures of the girls room so here they are. I do have to admit this is my favorite room in the house. Taylors comes in a close second. We are still working on hers so when it is done I will post some pictures of her room. This room just makes me happy. I don't know if it is the red walls or the lady bugs. I hope you enjoy the pictures!!!!

Charley
Charley is always wanting to play with Ellie and of course Ellies things. I found Charley having the best time wearing Ellies shoes and sunglasses while Ellie was off watching a movie.
