The big Easter egg hunt
My mom took more pictures then I did but here are just a few from the beach.
Haydens big week!
Jordan and Mason were climbing the rocks to see if they could make it to the top. Hayden was watching and told Uncle Marc that if he put him up on the ledge he could climb to the top. Once he got up there he became very scared and wouldn't move. The ranger came down and asked if we need a ladder and Hayden said YES! It was so funny. We finally got him to come to Mason and Jordan. It was quite the day for Hayden.
Hayden hit his tooth on our tv when he was 2 and it turned a grayish black color. For the last couple of months he has been playing with it saying it was loose but he wouldn't let me pull it out. We were sitting on the beach and I told Michael he should see if Hayden would let him pull it out. Marc called Hayden over and asked if he could pull on it and he said yes. He grabbed on to it with a shirt and pulled hard three times and nothing. So the next day Marc called him over to his camp site and had some string. Hayden let him wrap his tooth and he pulled it out. It was great. After he pulled it out we couldn't find it on the ground and we searched for awhile and finally found it. Hayden was so worried because he didn't have a pillow to put it under for the toothfairy so he borrowed his dads.

Kindergarten here we come!
Well this week our kindergarten packets were ready and so off to the school I went. I think they come up with something new to add to the packet every year. I made all the appointments for shots and such and was ready to go. Wednesday arrived and I told Ellie we had to go to the doctor to get ready for school. She was so nervous and said she felt sick. I felt so bad. I was trying to tell her it wasn't going to be a big deal but she knew I was lying. our first challenge was peeing in a cup. She did not want that thing anywhere near her. It took some talking to but we got our sample. Next came the doctor. She was very good with Ellie and made her feel very important. Everything looked great and she said Ellie is right where she should be in height and weight. Last but not least came the shots. She got 2 in each leg. I thought she handled it pretty well. She only cried for a few minutes and then was ready to go and pick out a prize out of the kindergarten box. Ellie's pre-school teacher asked me if she was going to go to kindergarten and I was nervous to say yes. Since Ellies birthday is the cut off day we were afraid that she should wait one more year but her teacher told me that she felt Ellie was ready for school. That she would do just fine so the next day I finished filling out all the paper work and we walked it over to the school. They told her they were excited for her to join their school. You should have seen her face, she is so excited. We are in and ready to go. Now we just sit back and wait for August to find out who the lucky teacher will be. We will be sure to post when we find out!!!!!!!

Taylor's president speech
Taylors class have been studying the United States presidents. Each student had to research and write a paper about the president they were given. Then they had to write a speech about their life and what they accomplished while being president and then where they are now. Taylors president was Ronald Regan. It has been a lot of fun learning little things about him that I knew nothing about. Taylor did a great job getting everything ready for her big day. This morning she got up and got ready. She had her dad tie her tie and off to schoool she went. I was able to go and watch her give her speech in front of the class. She did awesome. She made lots of eye contact and spoke loud and clear. I was so proud of her. I get so choked up when I watch her up there growing up so fast and becoming and fabulous young woman!!!!!

our latest project
As most of you know Linda and I have a small sticker buisness that has been a lot of fun. We aren't big time working women but every now and then we have some projects that keep us busy for awhile. This is our latest little project. They turned out so cute that I just had to post them. It is always fun when Linda or I ( most the time always Linda ) thinks or sees something for us to create and it really does turn out cute.
