sick, sick, sick

one week ago today Little Ellie woke up and said that her ear hurt. She began running a temperture later that day and come Wednesday morning her and Charley were both very sick. I thought things were ok by Friday and then Hayden decided to vomit all over his carpet and had the runs for 2 hours straight. Pour Michael had to stand next to him while he sat on the toilet and wipe his little bum. It was a horrible night. Saturday started out great. Everyone seemed fine so we headed over to my moms to celebrate Unlce Mikey's birthday. While we were there Charley started crying about her ear hurting. She had a low fever and it just got worse. Sunday morning she was pretty out of it so I stayed home with her from church. Monday arrived and now who do you think is cursed with this stupid flu. Thats right, ME. I felt horrible yesterday and layed in bed all day. Today I am not so bad but when I get up to do anything I end up on the toilet. So I am stuck in bed another day watching movies with Charley. I hope this thing will hurry up and leave our home. I hope no one else gets this nasty bug.

Kauner and Luke have the cutest relationship. They had such a great time together. Kauner loves his little cousin and is so cute with him.

A day at the park

Sunni and her two little boys have come home to cisit for the week. On Monday there was no school and it was such a beautiful day we went to the new park by our home. The kids had a really good time.

Little Ellie just loves walking around a bossing all the kids at the park. We really need to work on that with her.

Charley had such great time hanging on the bars.

Little Logan was so good he just sat on Grandmas lap and watched all the kids.

Hayden had to go to the bathroom and they where all locked so he got very upset when I told him to pee in on the tree.

How cute is this!

The other day at Costco they were putting out these cute outfits. How can you resist! They were so cute and so when you have two little girls you have to have one for each. I made hairbows to match and then found these cute little shoes at Target. I just thought they looked so cute I had to take pictures. Little Ellies shoes were too big so we will have to take them back and get a smaller size.

Basketball begins

Kauner has started basketball for Norris. Him and Talmage are on the same team and play very well together. It has been a lot of fun watching them play. Taylor has started also so I will try to get some pictures from her game on here very soon!

A beautiful day!

On Thursday the girls were so happy to go outside and play. It was so nice outside. I actually got alittle warm. I took several pictures but I can only download one. I don't know what the deal is. Anyways we look forward to many more warm days to come!

Just because!

Well today has started out to be a really great day! I woke up and did my usual morning routine making lunches and kicking everyone out the door. I then decided to get on the scale to see if anything had changed and I was so happy to see what it said! I have been at the same weight for two weeks with no change. I changed my routine at the gym and still nothing. I was beginning to think I was going to be stuck there forever but today I saw that all my hard work was paying off!!!!
The girls and I got ready for the day and headed out to the gym. As we were leaving to come home Ellie asked if we could make cookies! Why not. We came home and made some very pretty sugar cookies. The girls have eaten half of them already. I had to put some up so that there would be some left over for the older kids. I had so much fun watching Ellie try to be so grown up cutting out cookies and putting them on the sheet. Charley just liked spreading flour everywhere. We had a great time.
I love days like this.

Missing Sunni!

Well today I was waiting for Ellie to get out of preschool and two of my good friends who are sisters drove up and started visiting with me. We were having a great chat when they said they were going to lunch together with their kids. I found myself wishing that my sister that I chat with everyday lived here. I miss Sunni buns. I love to talk to her everyday and wish that she lived by me so that we could hang out with eachother all the time. I look forward to her visit in a few weeks and going to lunch with her and her kids! Love you Sunni!!!!!!!!

My sweet Charley!

I just wanted to write about my sweet Charley today. I find myself getting very emotional at times when I watch her and know that she is my last baby. Don't get me wrong she has been my greatest challenge so far but everyday she grows up alittle more and really is begining to be a good baby or should I say little girl. I signed her up last week for preschool in the fall and I think that was when it hit me. I never thought I would say I wanted to have another baby but, at times I do have those feelings and am sad that I can't. Charley is very good at pushing my buttons and really fights to get her way. At times that means screaming until I give in but I am working on that with her. The last few nights she has been waking up at night and lays by the door on the floor and calls out until I open the door for her. She then stands up and reaches out for me to pick her up. She says, "hold you" and so I pick her up and hold her very close and rub her back. The part that just makes me cry is as I am rubbing her back she is rubbing mine. I find myself at times waking up hoping to hear her calling out to me. I never thought I would agree with my mom when she said to charish every mintue with them. I hope I can remember these feelings I am having right know on days when Charley is having a huge fit in the middle of the store!
