Michael's trip to Miami

Well as most of you have heard Michael was invited to go with Spencer, Mikey, and Nick to see Joey Porter (Who plays for the Miami Dolphins) play the New England Patriots. They had a great time and haven't stop talking about it. Here are just a few pictures from his trip.

I won!!!!!

I am so excited! I won the pay it forward on my sister in laws blog page! I want to say thank you to her for the great meal she made for my family. The cake was to die for. I now have the chance to pay it forward to three lucky people!!!!!!! I guess that the drill is that you make a comment on my blog and your name is put in a hat for a drawing. On October 25th I will pick three people to receive something from me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Halloween through the years!

This year my mom was having me help her with her blog page and she had a great idea to post pictures from the past halloweens. I had such a great time looking through old pictures and seeing how cute the costumes were I wanted to do the same. I thought I would walk down memory lane and let you join me. I have posted some of my favorite Halloweens starting from our very first one as a family!
1998
This was our first Halloween and grandma Abby made the cute costume.

1999

2000
I think this has been my favorite year so far. They were just so cute.



2001


2002
This year my mom went crazy with the costumes and we did the wizard of oz with all the cousins. It was a blast!




2003
This year I made Taylor and Hayden clown costumes and Hayden refused to wear it. It still to this day has never been worn.


2004
Ellie was able to wear the lady bug costume of Taylors.


2005
This year Taylor and Ellie were 50's girls in little poodle skirts, Kauner was batman, and Hayden was Darthvador. I couldn't find a picture though. How sad!!!!
2006
This was last year! Taylor was a pirate, Kauner Indiana Jones, Hayden Harry Potter, Ellie little bo peep and Charley her lamb.

Kauner's Flag football

This is Kauners 3rd year playing flag football and has been having a really good time. His cousin Talmage is on his team and they really work well together. I look forward to when they are playing tackle together.

Taylor's Volleyball game

This is the third year now for Taylor to play volleyball through school. It is a very interesting thing to watch. Sometimes they might actually hit the ball over the net more then once. Taylor does seem to love it so that makes me happy. I love to have her involved in school things to keep her active.

Taylor has a pretty good little serve. She would like to try over hand but her coach says to stay with the underhand for now.

Ellie and Charley went with their dad to the game today to show their support. As long as there are benches to climb on they are very happy.

Ellie's bike parade

Ellie's preschoool had a bike parade this past week. They had a great time. They had to bring their bikes to school in the morning and then they decorated them with streamers. They then had a parade at the end of the day around the parking lot. The only problem we really had was that Ellie didn't have a bike. What great parents we are. We had to borrow a bike from our neighbors. Can you guess what Ellie is getting for her birthday!!!!!!! She had a great time and talks about it non stop.

Taylor's Birthday

Ten years ago today at 1:10 p.m. Taylor entered the world and started the begining of our wonderful family. Boy has time gone by. She has been such a delight to watch grow and learn about life. Her little personality is so different then mine. She is very patient with her family members and is always thinking about the other person. It takes a lot to get Taylor upset. The night before her birthday grandma Abby took Melanie and her to the movies to see Hairspray. It was all she could talk about. She had to get the soundtrack for her birthday. She loves to sing and loves to act out the movies that she loves. Tonight grandma Abby came with Taylor, Melanie, and me to the mall. We had a wonderful time shopping and looking at all the cute clothes out there. We then met up with Aunt Mauri, Payton, and Sadie at Chili's to have the birthday dinner. Taylor's face lit up when the crew of eight came and sang Happy Birthday!!!!!! She recieved some great gift cards to moms favorite store so after dinner we headed over to Target to do some more shopping. Tonight has been a wonderful night. I loved being with Taylor and seeing how big she has gotten. She is turning into such a beautiful young girl. I look forward to many more birthdays to come. I hope she will always enjoy being with mom (I know that is wishful thinking but I just want to dream).
