Day 7

THE MANTA DIVE is what we did on day 7. It was amazing. We got up and just sat around the pool being lazy until lunch time and then went into town for the big dive. Driving out on the little boat was not that fun I think we all got a little sick but then once we got there we did a twilight dive which is when the day fish are going in and the night fish are coming out so it is supposed to be amazing. We saw a lot of cool stuff. Then back on the boat until the sun set. Once it was dark we got in the water and dove down to a spot they call the fire pit. There are lights set up all around in a circle and we sit along the outside. The Manta swim all around catching the plankton from the lights. There were only three that showed up on our dive but they were awesome. Lefty was the name of the biggest one we saw and she was 12 ft from wing tip to wing tip. It was crazy seeing them up close.

Two pictures from our twilight dive.
