Little Charley

I thought I would share a little story with all of you today about my sweet Charley. I was just beginning to think that all the hard times were over with her but I was wrong. Today was such a beautiful day that I thought I would take some time to spray all the weeds in the front yard. Charley asked if she could bring Belle out with her on the leash and I said yes. While I was spraying she was walking Belle around the front yard. After about 10 minutes Ellie came over and asked where Charley was. I looked around and couldn't see her anywhere. I started yelling her name as I looked all over the house inside and out. NO Charley or Belle to be found. By this time I really began to freak out. With the help of my neighbors we began running all around the neighborhood looking for her and Belle. After about 10 minutes of crying and screaming her name I had a feeling to look inside the house again. I started going in and out of each room calling Charley and Belles name and while I was in the girls room I could hear the jingle of Belles collar. I looked under the bed and there was Charley just laying there quiet as can be with a huge smile I her face. I grabbed her and hugged her and tried to explain how scared I was but she just looked at me like I was stupid. Then I asked where Belle was and she wouldn't answer. I could hear her collar but she wasn't under the bed. Was she in the closet? NO. Was she in the doll bed? NO. Where could she be. I opened up the play frig and there she was wrapped in a blanket sitting on the shelf. After taking a moment to compose myself I ran outside to let everyone know I found her. What a nightmare! If I survive Charley it will be a miracle. I know pictures are always a must but I was so upset I didn't even think the grab my camera.

Jaime, you really are a great mom. Glad to see everyone came out of it with a smile. You are a better woman than me.

Uh oh, Alexander is quietly mischevious too, maybe they aren't the best match! Thanks for having him to play, he loves Charley!

Little stinker! She knows how to test your buttons. I saw in a magazine this new device you put in your kids backpack and it puts a GPS on them so you know where they are at all times. I swear we should glue it to them, especially at the store when they love to run off and hide in the clothes!
