Ellie's birthday

Today is my sweet Ellies birthday! She was my craziest labor by far. I woke up at 1:00 am and was having pretty good contractions so I just paced around the house waiting for them to get harder. Around 1:30 I was really begining to have some good ones. I went in and woke up Michael and told him it was time to go. He got up called Elaine and my mom and off we went. I was really starting to hurt but thought we would be ok. About half way to the hospital it was time to push. I was really having hard ones and alot of pressure. I kept screaming at Michael to hurry and was trying to breathe like they tell you to. It didn't work. We pulled up to the hospital and I had a huge urge to push and could no longer hold the urge. I felt Ellie's head come out. I layed the seat back and thought I was going to have the baby in the car. Michael told me to sit back up!!!! He was really starting to freak out now and went running for help. Michael and the security guard lifted me out of the car and Ellies head slid back up. Up the elevator we went and when the doors opened I had another huge contraction and her head came back out. The nurses would not listen to me and just kept telling me it would all be ok and to not push. When the nurse pulled down my pants her and Michaels eyes were huge. They realized I wasn't lying about her head. They threw me up on the bed and with one push out Ellie came. She was beautiful!
Ellie's is such a sweet spirit. She can sometimes be alittle bossy but for the most part she is a complete joy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ellie Belly!
